Ewan Cameron

 

Ewan is a management professional with over ten years experience in construction contract management, infrastructure development, corporate management, business development, financial control and industrial operations. Ewan is a specialist in the field of tender development and implementation, commercial negotiation and process innovation and has developed a significant list of achievements in his field. Ewan’s strong understanding of engineering principles, combined with his highly developed commercial abilities, affords him the opportunity to bring efficient commercial solutions to technically based challenges. 

In support of his experience driven capabilities, Ewan is an MBA Executive student and continues to develop the professional expertise to provide his clients with exceptional commercial support. Ewan’s professional standing has been recognised by the Australian Institute of Management, for which he has been awarded Associate Fellow status. Ewan has also been accredited to Associate level by the Australian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy.


 

 


 

Nick Hardy

Nick has a Degree in Engineering and a Graduate Diploma in Local Government Engineering.  He has over 20 years experience in key project management and engineering roles. The KLJ Consulting Group was formed by Nick in 1999. He is a director of the company and has had considerable involvement in projects that have been undertaken by the group. Currently working in the role of Contracts Manager for the $966M NCIG Coal Export Terminal, Nick heads up a team of KLJ Consulting personnel to manage the tendering and negotiation of major contracts and the ongoing contracts administration for the project.

Nick has previously worked as Contracts Manager for the construction of Stage 2 of the PWCS Coal Export Terminal in Newcastle, Mount Arthur North Mine Development in the Hunter Valley and Kurri Kurri Aluminium Smelter Upgrade. Other positions held by Nick have included a number of construction management and engineering roles for Alstom, ABB Engineering Construction, Thiess, Kilpatrick Green and Allco Steel Corporation.

Nick has significant experience in dispute resolution and legal matters arising from the construction industry having worked with a number of law firms including Abbott Tout (Sydney), McCullough Robertson (Brisbane) and Dutton Lawyers (Newcastle). Nick has been engaged as an expert witness for technical advice and has been involved as a witness in several Supreme Court Construction List matters.

The key characteristics of Nick's experience comprises of an in-depth knowledge of claims strategy including preparation & analysis, tender preparation & evaluation and procurement, and his ability to incorporate his construction experience within all associated processes.
